our roots
This endeavor came to be from simple origins…. Growing too many peppers and not know what do to with them. We did not want them to go to waste, but we did not have enough room in our freezer to keep them. So, at the suggestion of my brilliant wife, I tried my hand at making some small batch sauce from the extra peppers. I started very small and gave out samples to friends and family and eagerly awaited their feedback. Turns out, they loved it!
After some trial and error I came up with our most popular recipe, Original Red. After perfecting the first recipe, I knew I needed a couple more varieties to round out the offerings for people with more discerning pallets. So I came with with our Verde (mild) and Chipotle (smokey/tangy) sauces.
We are constantly looking to improve our selection and offer a wider variety of sauces to meet any need. In the future we are hoping to expand into BBQ sauces, marinades and rubs.
